5 days in Goa

Goa is one of the best destinations to celebrate a holiday, conference, social gathering or any other event in India. Kickstart day one by visiting the archaeological heritage of the country. 

Goa is famous for churches and museums. They are located in Old Goa. Old Goa served as the capital city when the Portuguese era. Sadly, once famine hit the place it broke down into ruins. The Basilica of Bom Jesus is one of the most famous and oldest churches in Goa. It has the mortal remains of Saint Francis Xavier. Spend your time exploring the museums and art galleries if you are an art enthusiast. The place around will enhance your knowledge about art. 

Hop on to North Goa on day 2 

North Goa has the best landmarks and buzzing nightlife. You will also find various streets that serve right as popular shopping destinations. Famous beaches like the Calangute, Baga, Mandrem, and Morjim are located here. If you are a sports enthusiast do not forget to try out the water rafting and
other sports here. Try the variety of wine available in these locations. In case you have money to blow go-ahead to some of the famous Casinos. 

Go to the state’s capital city Panjim

The location has a very picturesque design. They resemble European architecture. The houses are built in Portuguese style. If you look forward to carrying souvenirs pick them from Panjim. It has some of the famous galleries and stores which have unique collections. You will have a variety of choices to choose and pick from. 

Goa is also known for sanctuaries.
Why always sit in a crowded place? Goa has a lot to offer more than sun, sea, and sand. The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is a place where you will spot a variety of animals. Enjoy the lush green surroundings of the forest. Hire a jeep and go on a jungle safari. Make sure to carry your camera along as you will get numerous picture perfect shots as you explore the area. 

Go beach hopping

Goa has numerous beaches. Kickstart your day by having breakfast by the beachside and hop on to other beaches to enjoy the other course of the meal. Chill around eating, dancing and partying on the shacks.

The Fisherman’s Wharf- They have the best to offer in terms of seafood and entertainment. Located in Salcette. 

The Farmhouse restaurant- It is located in Varca are you drive down the Margoan route. 

Martin’s Corner- It is located in Betalbatim. The restaurant offers Indo Chinese food. 

Britto’s- Located at the Baga beach. Britto’s is the longest running restaurant which serves authentic Goan food.
